Why does Dispute Buddy keep asking to update after I just installed it?

You open the app and see a message that an update is needed. You click Get Update, download it again, but the app still shows the same screen. This can happen right after a new release. A quick relaunch usually fixes it.

Quick fix (works on both Windows and Mac)

1. Close the app completely.

2. eopen the app. It should now open normally without asking to update again.

If this hasn’t fixed the issue, restart your computer
