How do I fix encryption errors?

Turn off iTunes backup encryption

1. Connect your iPhone to your Windows PC with a USB cable.

2. If prompted on your iPhone, tap Trust This Computer and enter your passcode.

3. Open iTunes on your PC (make sure its the latest version).

4. Wait for your iPhone to appear as a small phone icon in the top left of iTunes, then click it.

5. Go to the Summary (or General) tab.

6. Scroll down to the Backups section.

7. Uncheck Encrypt iPhone backup.

8. If asked, enter the encryption password you set previously, then click OK.
